Peninsula School of Art Plein Air Festival

Plein air is the act of painting outdoors. Each July, Peninsula School of Art brings together over 30 of the finest painters in the country, each with their own painting styles and unique perspectives, to honor the tradition of outdoor painting in Door County. During this week-long event, artists will be seen with their canvases, easels, and paints throughout the county capturing the essence of Door County’s beauty. With a number of events, like the Quick Paint competition, that are free and open to all, watch as the artists work their magic. You’ll even have a chance to purchase their works at the Quick Paint Live Auction!
