Door County in June is filled with many things to do and activities to fill up your weekend. One of our celebrations throughout the month of June in Door County is Pride Month! Many local nonprofits, restaurants, and retailers participate in the celebration of the LGBT community. There are many events throughout the month of June to celebrate Pride, and we have a guide just for you!
1. Pride The Circus
Step right up for this sensational event right in Door County! Pride The Circus is an event hosted by Northern Door Pride. This non-profit organization’s mission is to inspire the Door County community to be the best versions of themselves by embracing everyone. Pride The Circus will be held on June 13 in Sister Bay Village Hall. The event will involve a true circus experience including a raffle, carnival games, a magician, a fire juggler, and circus acts that will be perfect for any family looking for something to do on a Tuesday night in Door County. To finish out the night, there will be live music entertainment from DJ Brawny beginning at 7:30 p.m. All money raised at this event will go to Northern Door Pride to continue their community outreach, as well as to start a mentorship program.
2. Wild Tomato Donation Creation Pizza Party
Did someone say pizza? We’re there! Open Door Pride is hosting two separate pizza parties with Wild Tomato on June 3and June 20 in Sister Bay Beach Park. You can pick up your pizza at Wild Tomato and follow the pride flags down to Sister Bay Beach.
